On August 19, the signing ceremony of the project for upgrading the urban water supply system in Telavi, Georgia, contracted by China Geo-engineering Corporation, was held in Telavi, the capital of Kakheti region.
Funded by Asian Development Bank, the improvement of urban water supply system in Telavi is a project owned by United Water Supply Company of Georgia, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, and the contract period is 15 months. This is the first infrastructure project contracted by China Geo-engineering Corporation in Georgia. Following the principle of “compliance, high quality, and high efficiency,” the Chinese company aims to make the project a success which helps establish a good corporate image as an international engineering contractor and lay a solid foundation for its subsequent expansion into Georgia’s infrastructure markets including water supply, roads, and bridges.
