Innovation
The year 2018 marks CECEP’s “Year of Technological Innovation.” The company has accordingly
formulated Action Plan for Technological Innovation (2018), and the first group of 18 key innovation projects have
been kicked off. So far, CECEP has set up 89 research and development institutes at various levels, including four
national R&D institutes, 29 provincial- and ministerial-level institutes and one overseas R&D institute,
and received 214 scientific research awards at and above the provincial and ministerial level, including a First
Prize of State Technological Invention Award (2015), a Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress
Award (2016) and a Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award (2017), alongside 2,183
authorized patents and 466 authorized intention patents. In addition, it has played a lead role in 200 scientific
research projects at and above the provincial and ministerial level, and presided over and participated in the
formulation of 269 national and industry standards.
