Chinese State Councilor Wang Yong visited Lesotho and held a seminar of Chinese enterprises in Africa from December 13 to 15, 2019. Song Xin, chairman of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP), attended the seminar and then conducted a survey on the Lesotho project division of the Southern Africa branch of China Geo-Engineering Corporation (CGC).
Representatives from CGC and its Southern Africa branch and Lesotho project division made reports on the development of their business in Africa. Song spoke highly of the outstanding achievements made by CGC’s Southern Africa branch, and made requests on its next-phase work. He expressed hopes that CGC will continue strengthening the awareness of internationalization and internal collaboration, strive to explore oversea markets, and seek more business opportunities in the fields of energy conservation and environmental protection abroad.
