Recently, CECEP L&T Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CECEP L&T”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the CECEP Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd. under China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP), signed EPC contracts on flue gas desulfurization with two Indian companies—Rosa Power Supply Company Limited and Sasan Power Limited, with a total value of US$310 million.
As one of the first 12 members of the pilot desulfurization program approved by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Development and Reform Commission, CECEP L&T owns independent property rights on several flue gas treatment technologies. Based on its innovative technology service system, the company has gone abroad to explore the global market. This cooperation was a significant measure taken by CECEP Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd. to fulfill its duty as a centrally administrated enterprise and carry forward the Belt and Road Initiative, which has laid a solid foundation for the company’s next “golden decade” of internationalization.
