On January 4, 2019, China Qiyuan Engineering Corporation, a subsidiary of CECEP, successfully won the bid for a an assistance project to design and manage the Burn Unit of the Chittagong Medical College in Bangladesh, which marked a good beginning of the company’s international operations in 2019.
The project aims to build a 9,000-square-meter, 150-bed burn clinic that consists of outpatient service, emergency department, an emergency operating room, two class 10,000 cleanrooms, a 10-bed intensive care unit (ICU), a 10-bed high dependency unit (HDU) for men, a 10-bed HDU for women and a five-bed HDU for children. Necessary medical instruments and furniture will be equipped, and auxiliary facilities will be built. Construction is expected to be completed in 20 months.
