The 3rd China International Import Expo (CIIE) opened in Shanghai on November 4. On the morning of November 5, Song Xin, chairman of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP), and Deputy CEO Liu Dajun led the company’s delegation to visit the Technical Equipment exhibition area at the CIIE. There, they gained insight into intelligent manufacturing and frontier technologies on display, and held talks with Tomizawa Katsuyuki, corporate executive and chief representative in China of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, for future cooperation.

Organized by the ICC UK, the ICC International Trade & Prosperity Week was held virtually from October 19 to 23. Nearly 60 senior experts from financial institutions, leading companies and universities around the world were invited to attend the 10 webinars during the event. On the afternoon of June 18, the United Nations’ “Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) Initiative – Global Energy Efficiency Accelerator” project video conference was successfully held in the Chanba Ecological District of Xi’an, northwest China’s Shaanxi Province. One of the six accelerator platforms of SEforALL, the project aims to provide systemic energy solutions for cities with cooling and heating as key technologies. China is one of the first four pilot countries of the project, and the project office is located in a consulting company under the umbrella of CECEP.

The two sides conducted in-depth communication on such issues as climate change and ESG disclosure. The conference was chaired by Bai Hongchun, director of the Department of Green Finance of CECEP Consulting. Attendees included Luo Nan, head of PRI China, and Liao Yuan, general manager of CECEP Consulting.
