On the afternoon of June 15, CECEP Consulting Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CECEP Consulting”) held an online meeting with French Development Agency (AFD) Representative Office in China to exchange views on topics of common concern as well as cooperation intentions. The meeting was hosted by Bai Hongchun, head of Green Finance Department of CECEPP Consulting. AFD Senior Project Officer Herve Aloncle, Senior Project Officer Zou Ping, and Partnership Officer Zhang Qiang joined Liao Yuan, general manager of CECEP Consulting and deputy secretary-general of the Climate Investment and Financing Special Committee, Yang Lin, deputy general manager of CECEP Benchmark Technology Services (Beijing) Co., Ltd., and others to attend the meeting.
At the meeting, AFD experts elaborated on the development of AFD in China, focusing on green finance, tackling climate change, sustainable development and renewable energy. Liao Yuan introduced the work of CECEP Consulting and the Climate Investment and Financing Special Committee as well as the company’s key tasks in 2020. Then, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on the ongoing cooperation projects and future research direction.
The two sides agreed that there are many possibilities of synergy between CECEP Consulting and AFD Representative Office in China, especially in the areas of energy transformation and climate investment and financing, which means great potential for cooperation in the future. Both sides look forward to forging a sustained exchange mechanism to jointly promote the establishment of a long-term and stable cooperative relationship.
