Rainwater began to be accumulated in the cable trench of the power distribution building of Hanchuan Solar Power Plant. Relevant equipment would be destroyed if the emergency wasn’t handled in time, thus affecting electricity supply. At the crucial moment, Wu Zhibang, deputy director of the Central China Operation and Maintenance Management Center of CECEP Solar Energy Co., Ltd., immediately drove to the site to guide workers in handling the emergency. By 8 p.m. on July 8, thanks to the concerted efforts of all employees of Hanchuan Solar Power Plant, all equipment resumed operations to supply power.
Chongqing Tongling Yangtze Co., Ltd. supplies temporary electric power for the drainage station of Xinxing Floodgate.
On the night of July 7, a heavy flood threatened the Chengbei section of the Yangtze River dyke in Tongling City, Anhui Province. The drainage station of Xinxing Floodgate needed temporary power supply to drain floodwater. The local government immediately asked Chongqing Tongling Yangtze Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CECEP Chongqing Company, to supply temporary electric power. The Tongling company took immediate action to install three 6KV cables with a total length of nearly 2,500 meters as quickly as possible to transmit temporary electric power to the drainage station of Xinxing Floodgate, helping Tongling carry out flood drainage.
