As the pneumonia epidemic caused by novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues, Hubei, the hardest-hit area, is facing the mounting task of preventing and controlling the spread of the epidemic.
On February 3, CECEP (Panjin) Clean Tech Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Panjin Company”) held a grand, special ceremony to see off three volunteers heading to Jingzhou, a city in Hubei Province nearly 2,000 kilometers away. Zuo Hao, head of Panjin Company’s marketing department, alongside Hao Yonglu and Zeng Lixue, both from the production department, volunteered to help the Jingzhou subsidiary of China National Environmental Protection Group under CECEP (hereinafter referred to as “Jingzhou Company”) combat the epidemic.
After the epidemic broke out, CECEP Ecotech Co., Ltd. called on all its employees to play a pioneering and exemplary role in actively responding to the nationwide campaign against the outbreak, and mobilized staff members with professional background or relevant work experience in medical waste disposal to form a “volunteer reserve team,” standing ready to support frontline prevention and control efforts at any time. Up to now, a total of 185 executives and managers at different levels of the companies’ subsidiaries have signed up as volunteers ready to provide assistance at the frontline.
