After the outbreak of pneumonia caused by a novel coronavirus, the Party committee of New Era Health Industry (Group) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CECEP, immediately held an enlarged meeting to convey General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on epidemic prevention and control work as well as the spirit of the meeting of the Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau on the issue, and arranged work of epidemic prevention and control. The group’s leadership required its frontline production enterprises to immediately allocate urgently needed materials and quickly join the battle against the epidemic.
The group’s Yantai company overcame difficulties caused by logistics outage and deployed seven extended trucks to ensure smooth transportation of goods. More than 40 employees of its Beijing company worked through the holidays to speed up production to ensure market supply. As of January 29, the first batch of urgently needed products had been shipped to meet market demand. As the work progresses, the company will continue to collect needed materials and plans to provide 360,000 masks to the market.
