On March 10, CECEP hosted a symposium at its headquarters with student representatives who have benefited from the “Flying Dreams in College” education aid program. All natives of Songxian County, Henan Province, these students are currently studying at universities and colleges in Beijing. In the headquarter building, students visited its exhibition hall and understood the corporate culture of CECEP. They also received eye-protection lamps, education aid cards, and computers donated by the company. Chairman Liu Dashan personally held a meeting with the students, encouraging them to study hard and repay their hometown, the motherland and the society with skills and expertise they learn.
“Flying Dreams in College” education aid program is a charitable campaign aimed at Songxian County under pairing assistance from CECEP. Since 2014, CECEP has annually provided 500,000 yuan of financial aid to 100 students from impoverished households in Songxian who were admitted to Beijing universities. So far, 300 students have benefited from the program.
