During the work conference on promoting the construction of Zhejiang’s Great Bay Area, an economic and industrial belt centered around Hangzhou Bay, held on July 30, CECEP signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province, aiming at the goal of “building a world-class great bay that is green, modern, smart, harmonious and beautiful.”
According to the agreement under the theme “building Zhejiang’s Great Bay Area, promoting great protection of the Yangtze River,” the two parties will establish a comprehensive strategic partnership in areas such as urban environment management, consulting and planning of energy conservation and environmental protection, financial services for ecological environment treatment, sustainable development demonstration zone and green building, and renewable energy development and utilization. In the three years to come, CECEP will make a total investment of 20 billion yuan in Zhejiang, thus making new contributions to the construction of the Yangtze River Economic Belt into a golden economic belt featuring more beautiful ecology, more smooth transport, more coordinated economy, more integrated market and more scientific mechanisms.
