On February 28th, more than 20 teachers and students from Daxinzhuang Central Primary School visited CNEPG Quzhou Company to participate in a thematic study activity titled "Garbage Classification, Turning Waste into Treasure".
After the guide read out the safety instructions for the factory visit, they led everyone into the company's environmental education center. They provided detailed insights into the company's development, educated about waste classification, and then showed an animation called "The Life of Waste". This helped everyone learn about the process of waste incineration for electricity generation. Through environmental games focused on waste classification, the children had a hands-on experience with environmental protection, gaining awareness and understanding of it on the spot.
This waste classification study activity helped students understand the importance of waste sorting and learn how waste can be turned into valuable resources. It also fostered the habit of waste sorting among students and increased their sense of responsibility for environmental protection. Teachers and students alike expressed their commitment to practicing a green lifestyle in the future, contributing to bluer skies, greener mountains and clearer waters!
