On November 9, the 17th China-Japan Comprehensive Forum on Energy Saving and Environmental Protection, jointly organized by China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), Ministry of Commerce, Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), and the Japan-China Economic Association, was held in Tokyo, Japan. The forum was attended by Zhao Chenxin, Vice Chairman of China’s NDRC; Li Fei, Vice Minister of Commerce; Wu Jianghao, Chinese Ambassador to Japan; and relevant Japanese officials.
Liu Dajun, Director of CECEP, was invited to attend the forum's opening ceremony. He also participated in the sub-forum on energy efficiency improvement and the China-Japan Business Exchange Meeting. Additionally, he conducted site visits to notable Japanese enterprises, including the Abeno Harukas project, Daikin Industries TIC Technology Innovation Center, Osaka Gas Senboku Plant No. 2, and Azbil Fujisawa Technology Center.
This forum serves as a vital platform for cooperation between China and Japan in energy conservation, environmental protection and green development. It attracted more than 800 representatives from governments, enterprises and industry associations from both countries. CECEP has participated in related forum activities for two consecutive years.
