On October 22, 2024, the CECEP Digital Archive Platform was launched for trial operation at the group company's headquarters.
The project for the CECEP Digital Archive Platform was initiated in 2023, with the first phase of construction taking place in 2024. This phase includes developing an information system for headquarters’ archive management, integrating with the OA system for seamless online document archiving, and building a centralized data resource library. The digital archive system covers the management of 14 types of records, enabling unified, online management of all archives at headquarters after the first phase launch. It allows electronic document transfer, archiving and online access, supporting the creation of specialized digital archive resource libraries, significantly enhancing archival management efficiency.
The establishment of the CECEP Digital Archive Platform marks a new phase in transforming archives from traditional physical management to digital and data-based systems. It aligns with the objectives of the Group Company Archive Development Plan and lays a foundation for modernizing archive work—shifting from traditional to digital, from closed to open access, and from a focus on preservation to active utilization.
Before the platform launch, the group company’s office, in collaboration with CECEP Data Co., Ltd., organized training on archival processes and system operations for all departments at headquarters. Key guidelines were also issued: (1) strengthen archival awareness, acquire business knowledge, and actively participate in training; (2) quickly become proficient in using the digital archive system; (3) manage the collection and handover of departmental archives effectively; and (4) familiarize oneself with the archival standards and regulatory framework.
