On September 11, the 9th Belt and Road Summit, themed “Building a Connected, Innovative and Green Belt and Road”, opened at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region(HKSAR), John Lee, delivered the opening speech, while Gou Ping, Vice Chairman of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), also attended and spoke. Cao Huabin, Deputy General Manager of CECEP, was invited to participate.
During his stay in Hong Kong, Cao Huabin visited the Hong Kong branch of CECEP and China Geo-engineering Corporation Hong Kong Branch. He also held discussions with representatives from central enterprises, state-owned companies, and local enterprises based in Hong Kong.
