China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) convened a meeting on December 14, at which a decision on adjustment of the group’s leadership was unveil. According to the decision, Song Xin was appointed secretary of the Party committee and chairman of CECEP.
At 9 a.m. local time on November 14 in France, the first ESG-themed environmental risk assessment (ERA) data products independently developed by China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) was launched globally. It was also the first global release of China A-share ERA data, providing a new analytical perspective for global institutional investors to invest in companies listed on China’s A-share market.

The Madagascar branch of China Geo-Engineering Corporation won a tender on October 8 for the maintenance project of Section PK20-PK60 of National Highway 44. The project is funded by the World Bank and owned by the Ministry of Land Development, Housing and Public Works of Madagascar. With a contract period of 18 months, it involves the renovation of a 40-km section of asphalt pavement and related works.

Centering on the theme of “accelerating the transformation of growth drivers and promoting high-quality development,” the forum discussed topics such as “mixed ownership reform,” “corporate image,” “scientific and technological innovation,” “reform and innovation” and “the 5G era.”
From October 14 to 18, to mark the sixth National Poverty Alleviation Day, Chen Shuguang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of CECEP, led a team on a tour of Songxian in Henan Province and Fuchuan in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to inspect the group’s poverty alleviation work in these two poverty-stricken counties under pairing assistance.
On October 19, the Academics Forum on High-quality Development of China’s Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Industry, jointly organized by the International Ecological Economy Promotion Association, China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) and Legal Daily, was held in Beijing. CECEP CEO Yu Honghui was invited to the forum and delivered a speech.
