At the recent China Forum on Renewable Resources Technological Innovation held in Beijing, winners of the China Renewable Energy Society (CRES) Science and Technology Progress Award were announced. The “Industrial Park-based Multiple Biomass Energy Co-production Technology and Its Engineering Application” submitted by China National Environmental Protection Corporation (CNEPC) won the first prize of 2019 CRES Science and Technology Progress Award.

On September 18, China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) and the Changjiang Water Resources Commission (CWRC) of the Ministry of Water Resources convened a seminar on strategic cooperation in “jointly promoting the comprehensive protection and ecological progress of the Yangtze River.” The two parties conducted in-depth communication and signed an agreement on the cooperation mechanism of primary platforms concerning experience sharing, river basin management and pollution control of the Yangtze River.

On September 5, Yu Honghui, CEO of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) attended the signing ceremony of the agreement between the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) and Shanghai Municipality on deepening cooperation in the implementation of national strategy.

Under the guidance of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), the launch of Central State-owned Enterprises (SOEs) Corporate Social Responsibility Blue Book (2019) and collective release of CSR reports of the central SOEs was held by China Social Responsibility 100 Forum in Beijing on the afternoon of August 29. More than 280 guests from 96 central SOEs, local state-owned assets administrations and SOEs, and mainstream media attended the ceremony.

On July 18, 2019, China International Contractors Association released the rating for businesses engaging in international engineering projects of 2019. China Geo-Engineering Corporation (CGC) was rated an A-level company, the highest in the classification system.
