Recently, CECEP L&T Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CECEP L&T”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the CECEP Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd. under China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP), signed EPC contracts on flue gas desulfurization with two Indian companies—Rosa Power Supply Company Limited and Sasan Power Limited, with a total value of US>310 million.

The 2nd China-South Korea CEO and Former Senior Officials’ Dialogue, co-organized by the China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE) and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was held in Seoul, South Korea on December 5. Zhu Qingfeng, deputy CEO of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP), was invited to attend the event as a representative of Chinese entrepreneurs.

Zhu Qingfeng, deputy CEO of CECEP, led a delegation to attend the 13th China-Japan Comprehensive Forum on Energy Saving and Environmental Protection in Tokyo and visited a couple of Japanese enterprises from December 6 to 11.

Special agricultural products from Songxian County of Henan Province and the Fuchuan Yao Autonomous County of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, which are targets of “paired assistance” for CECEP, as well as from poverty-stricken villages aided by its subsidiary companies, were displayed at the trade fair, including free-range chicken, wormwood and red date tea, orange, Se-rich brown rice, millet and peanut oil. CECEP employees showed great interest in those products and were enthusiastic to buy, with an aim to help farmers in those areas by consumption. During the two-day event, more than 4,000 agricultural products were sold, and trade unions of CECEP subsidiaries signed purchase deals with enterprises in those poverty-stricken areas.

On December 12 local time. Yu Honghui, CEO of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP), attended and delivered a keynote speech at a side event focusing on investment and financing for climate change projects of “China Pavilion” at the UN Climate Change Conference 2019.

The 19th International Fine Chemical Raw Materials & Intermediates (Tieshangang) Summit and China FineChem 100 Conference was held in Beihai, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on November 28. A list of China’s top 100 fine chemical manufacturers was unveiled at the event, and CECEP Viliant Co., Ltd. ranked 10th on the list.

CECEP Construction Engineering Design Institute Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CECEP Construction”) collaborated with its partner Engineering Design & Research Institute of Sichuan University Co., Ltd. to participate in the Cambodia-China Culture and Art Exchange Center project planning workshop, launched by Yunnan Federation of Project Management Associations, in Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province, on November 20.

On November 21, CECEP Chairman Song Xin met with John L. Thornton, executive chairman of Barrick Gold Corp., and his entourage. The two sides held talks on joint efforts to promote mining ecological restoration, green development and AI technology application as well as emergency application of online monitoring and early warning. Both sides agreed to strengthen exchange, deepen cooperation, and explore new approaches for
