On August 9, China Electricity Council released the 2020 benchmarking results of operation indicators of Chinese wind power enterprises. A total of 2,164 wind farms of 49 power generation (investment) companies participated in the benchmarking, with installed capacity totaling more than 195 million kilowatts. A total of 439 wind farms were rated as national wind farms above AAA level.

The last wind turbine for the Phase-II 100MW project at Zone B of the No.2 Mazongshan Wind Farm in Gansu Province was installed on July 27. This marked another good news of the wind farm’s 200MW project implemented by CECEP Wind-power Corporation (Gansu) Co., Ltd. in honor of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), after its first wind turbine was connected to the grid on July 25. By then, the installation of all wind turbines of the 200MW project was completed, a solid step toward full-capacity grid-connected power generation.
