At the “ESG China Forum 2021 Summer Summit” held in Beijing on July 18, CECEP Solar Energy Co., Ltd. was listed among the ESG Top 100 Tech Companies.
Song Xin, chairman of CECEP, said at the recent 2021 Half-year Work Conference of CECEP that in the face of the uncertain prospects of economic recovery and the still severe and complicated pandemic situation in the first half of the year, CECEP made great efforts to overcome the pressure to promote high-quality development, and made remarkable progress in various key tasks, laying a solid foundation for completing the annual goals and tasks and building CECEP into a “world-class group in energy conservation, environmental protection and health industry”, while making a contribution to China’s green development.
Henan has recently faced huge pressure in flood control due to continuous rainstorms. Showing great concern for local residents, CECEP employees responded quickly by donating 10 million yuan to Henan for flood control, disaster relief and post-disaster reconstruction, lending a helping hand in the fight against floods.
The Fuquan branch of CECEP Solar Energy Co., Ltd. was recently registered and began operation under an agreement between CECEP Solar Energy Co., Ltd. and Fuquan City, Guizhou Province, on a PV-powered agricultural project with an investment of 1.5 billion yuan. The project features complementary synergy between agriculture and photovoltaic energy generation to be achieved by planting herbs or crops under the photovoltaic panels according to local topographic conditions.
On July 11, CECEP Chief Accountant attended the Eco Forum Global Annual Conference 2021 in Guiyang, Guizhou Province.
CECEP held a meeting on July 9 with leaders of Baishan City, northeast China’s Jilin Province, during which the two sides signed a strategic cooperation agreement. CECEP Chairman Song Xin and CEO Yu Honghui joined Xie Zhongyan, secretary of Baishan Municipal Party Committee, to witness the signing of the agreement. Liu Dajun, deputy CEO of CECEP, and Wang Xuefeng, deputy secretary of Baishan Municipal Party Committee, signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of each party.
Recently, Beijing Geotechnical Engineering Association released the list of Enterprises with Excellent Credit Standing in Beijing’s geotechnical industry for the first half of 2021. Beijing Geotechnical and Investigation Engineering Institute, a subsidiary of CECEP, was again included in the list for its corporate integrity and innovation ability.
On July 5, CECEP signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group Holding Co., Ltd in Tongling City, Anhui Province. Song Xin, chairman of CECEP, and Yang Jun, president of Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group, as well as Kong Tao, mayor of Tongling City, attended the signing ceremony. Li Jie, deputy CEO of CECEP, and Ding Shiqi, deputy general manager of Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group, signed the agreement on behalf of both sides.
