On June 6, the First China (Qinghai) International Ecological Expo was held in Xining, Qinghai Province. CECEP Chairman Song Xin was invited to attend the Expo and delivered a keynote speech at the forum themed “Building Ecological Civilization and Sharing the Fruits of Development.”

The 9th China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) Congress was held in Beijing on May 27. The meeting deliberated and adopted the CCOIC report on work, the revised CCOIC Constitution, and the list of member units of CCOIC council. Song Xin, chairman of CECEP, spoke at the congress on behalf of the new council members.

On May 30, CECEP CEO Yu Honghui attended the International Finance Forum 2021 Spring Meetings.

Recently, the CECEP Industrial Energy Conservation Co., Ltd built China’s first set of integrated pollution control devices and put it in operation successfully. The set of devices was developed on the basis of the Integrated Coal-fired Boiler Pollution Control Technology Research and Engineering Demonstration, a national key R&D program.

Through coordination and strategic cooperation with financial institutions, the CECEP Finance Co., Ltd. initiated a Green Finance loan of 388 million yuan to facilitate its project in Bijie City, Guizhou Province, on power generation through incineration of household waste. Developed by the CECEP, the Bijie-based project will play an important role in protecting the environment of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and serve as a pilot project of CECEP

Initiated and drafted by CECEP Engineering Technology Research Institute, the “Technical Specifications for Synergistic Self-heating Melting of Used Circuit Boards” (T/CAEE2-2021) was officially released on May 20, 2021. China’s first technical specifications for clean recycling of used circuit boards, the standard will serve as a guiding document for green development of used circuit boards as a resource and will greatly promote the influence of Chinese energy-saving technology brands.

The Third Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT) under the theme “Joining hands with the West for a bright future” was held in Chongqing on May 21. CECEP Chairman Song Xin was invited to attend the event.

Yu Honghui, president of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) held talks with Laurent Bili, French ambassador to China, at the French Embassy in China on May 13. The two sides discussed issues on deepening technological cooperation between CECEP and relevant French enterprises and institutions for achieving carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.
