The year 2018 marks CECEP’s “Year of Technological Innovation.” The company has accordingly formulated Action Plan for Technological Innovation (2018), and the first group of 18 key innovation projects have been kicked off. So far, CECEP has set up 89 research and development institutes at various levels, including four national R&D institutes, 29 provincial- and ministerial-level institutes and one overseas R&D institute, and received 214 scientific research awards at and above the provincial and ministerial level, including a First Prize of State Technological Invention Award (2015), a Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award (2016) and a Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award (2017), alongside 2,183 authorized patents and 466 authorized intention patents. In addition, it has played a lead role in 200 scientific research projects at and above the provincial and ministerial level, and presided over and participated in the formulation of 269 national and industry standards.

On December 22, the Central Enterprise Think Tank Alliance (CETTA) joined the Research Center of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council to hold the Third CETTA Council Work Conference and Think Tank Construction Seminar in Beijing to summarize the work of the Council for the 2019/2020 business year. CECEP was honored as one of the “Top Ten Council Member Units (2019-2020).”

This is the 11th consecutive year for the company to earn the prestigious honor.

On December 10, the second group of projects winning the 2019-2020 China Installation Quality Award (China Installation Star Project) was released. The Household Waste Incineration for Power Generation Project in Hengshui Ecological Cycle Industrial Park undertaken by China National Environmental Protection Group was included in the award list.
