Jointly sponsored by the News Center of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) and the Central Enterprise Media Alliance, the 8th Chinese Enterprise New Media Annual Conference was held in Beijing on December 22. Themed on “New Communication in the Era of Convergence” and integrating offline sharing and online livestreaming, the event attracted participation from leading representatives from political, business, media and academic circles, who exchanged views on how to jointly promote deep media convergence in the all-media era while forecasting the future of new media.
This year's Chinese Enterprise New Media Annual Conference honored a number of outstanding units in new media innovation and development, which were jointly selected by SASAC News Center, the Journalism Research Center of Tsinghua University and other institutions based on big data analysis. China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) won the 2020 Chinese Enterprise New Media Creation Award for its short video “Into Wuhan’s ‘Invisible Battlefield’ of Medical Waste Disposal.”
The video “Into Wuhan’s ‘Invisible Battlefield’ of Medical Waste Disposal” shows the whole process from collection and transportation to disposal of medical waste conducted by CECEP Ecological Environment Protection Industrial Co., Ltd. in Wuhan. On this special “invisible battlefield,” the company endeavored to make its due contribution to the fight against the epidemic.
