CECEP’s Daily Solid Waste Treatment Capacity Reaches 1,000 Tons

At 13:49 on December 2, the 3# unit of Baoding Company of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) completed the 72+24 hours test run, marking the official operation of China’s first 1,000-ton waste treatment facility. 

The incinerator adopts the techniques of Hitachi Zosen Corporation and has a processing capacity of 1,000 tons per day (in medium temperature and under sub-high pressure). While the large grate area and incineration chamber guarantee the sufficient burning of garbage, the facility is equipped with a 25-MW high-speed turbine generators, which, with stronger capacity, easier maintenance, and longer intervals for overhaul, makes the incinerator more efficient than ordinary units.

Construction of the project began on September 14, 2019, and the unit was successfully connected to grid at 13:49 on November 28, 2020. At 13:49 on December 2, the company completed the 72+24 hours test run, marking that CECEP’s daily solid waste treatment capacity has reached 1,000 tons.
