CECEP Invited to Attend the 2020 Green Development Innovation Conference

The 2020 Green Development Innovation Conference, jointly sponsored by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, was held on November 6 in Anji County, eastern China’s Zhejiang Province, under the theme of “Green Development Empowered by the Digital Economy.” As a founding member and deputy director-general unit of the CAST Alliance for Ecological and Environmental Sciences and Industry, China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) was invited to participate in the conference. 

At the conference, Zou Jiefu, chief engineer of CECEP, delivered a keynote speech entitled “Implementing the Concept that Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains are Invaluable Assets and Promoting Innovation-driven Green Development.” In the speech, he expounded on CECEP’s efforts to promote technological innovation for green development and play the role of a main force in ecological progress as a centrally administered enterprise.
