China Qiyuan-contracted Project for Shaanxi Longmen Iron and Steel Group Wins ‘China Steel Structure Gold Award’

The EPC project of 13# mixing yard closure undertaken by China Qiyuan Engineering Corporation for Shaanxi Longmen Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. recently won the 14th “China Steel Structure Gold Award” (2019).

With the approval of the State Council, “China Steel Structure Gold Award” is a national honor recognizing prime engineering projects. It is the highest award for engineering quality in China’s construction steel structure industry and represents the highest level of construction steel structure engineering in China.

The project has a total length of 438 meters, a span of 128 meters, and a floor space of more than 57,000 square meters. Featuring a steel bent frame structure for its main body, a net frame structure for the roof and a membrane structure for the façade, it is the largest single-membrane structure yard that has been completed and put into operation in China.
