CECEP’s 40MW Xiajin Wind Project Secures Approval

On February 3, CECEP’s 40MW “Wind Harnessing Action for Thousands of Towns and Villages” wind power project in Xiajin County received official approval.

The CECEP Xiajin 40MW wind power project is located in Dezhou City, Shandong Province, at the strategic intersection of two major national initiatives—the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin—as well as the provincial strategy for integrated development of the capital economic circle. The area enjoys exceptional wind energy resources. With a total installed capacity of 40MW, the project is expected to generate approximately 96 million kWh of electricity annually once completed, equivalent to saving about 29,800 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 80,300 tons each year. The project will actively contribute to optimizing the local energy structure and advancing the achievement of the “dual carbon” goals, while providing solid support for CECEP’s continued expansion of its clean energy presence in northern Shandong.
