CECEP held its 2025 Annual Meeting for Supporting Rural Revitalization on January 13th. The meeting, chaired by Deputy Party Secretary Liu Dajun, conveyed the key messages from the Central Rural Work Conference. Party Secretary and Chairman Song Xin addressed the meeting, outlining the Group's achievements and future plans for rural revitalization. Party Deputy Secretary and General Manager Liu Jiaqiang and other members of the leadership team also attended.
Song Xin highlighted the Group's achievements in 2024, noting that the Party Committee, following guidelines from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), continued to strengthen targeted assistance programs. Focusing on the effectiveness, results, intensity and branding of its assistance mechanisms, the Group achieved a good evaluation for the fourth consecutive year in the central government's assessment of support work effectiveness. These efforts have contributed positively to the economic and social development of assisted regions, including Xinjiang, Xizang, Qinghai and Jiangxi.
Looking ahead to 2025, Song Xin emphasized the Group's commitment to implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's instructions on agriculture, rural areas and farmers, as well as the spirit of the Central Rural Work Conference. Following guidance from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, SASAC, and the Group's Value Creation Year initiative, the Group will leverage its experience from the Ten Million Projects to support the development of beautiful rural areas within a beautiful China. By focusing on industrial development, green agriculture, organizational improvements and brand enhancement, and utilizing its expertise in energy conservation and environmental protection, the Group aims to enhance the economic, ecological, social and cultural value of supported regions. This includes providing full assistance to rural revitalization efforts in areas such as Song County in Henan and Fuchuan in Guangxi, contributing to the broader advancement of rural revitalization across China.
The meeting was attended by department heads from the Group's headquarters, leadership teams from second- and third-tier companies, relevant department heads and support staff.
