The task of green power supply for the Winter Olympics undertaken by CECEP Wind-power has come to a successful conclusion, which has added a colorful stroke to the first quarter.
Scientific coordination to guarantee the green electricity transaction of the Winter Olympics. Zhangbei Regional Company of CECEP Wind-power planned in advance to actively connect with Hebei Power Grid and incorporate Lvnaobao Wind Farm into the contracted wind farm of green power supply for the Winter Olympics, providing supporting services and green power of 12.71 million kwh for 26 venues in the three major competition zones of the Winter Olympics, accounting for 12% of the total green power demand of the Winter Olympics, equivalent to saving 4,141 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 12,673 tons. At the same time, Zhangbei Regional Company gathered all the wind farms in the region, carried out a series of actions of "carrying the red flag to welcome the Winter Olympics", and went all out to ensure the supply of green electricity. With practical actions, it fulfilled the solemn promise of completely neutralizing the carbon emissions during the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, and let the green electricity lighten up the lamps of the Winter Olympics.
Synergy in guarantee of green electricity for Winter Olympics. Bearing in mind the country’s most fundamental interests, Zhangbei Regional Company regarded power supply for the Olympic Games as the top priority in its recent work, mobilized capable staff and best resources in the region, and went all out for the Winter Olympics. A total of 97 operation and maintenance personnel from three wind farms in the region were on duty 24 hours a day for 55 days continuously, patrolling more than 640 wind turbines, nearly 600 kilometers of integrated circuit, 9 main transformers and other equipment, particularly intensifying the investigation of hidden dangers of primary and secondary equipment in severe weather such as strong wind, low temperature and icing in Zhangbei Bashang area, preventing large-scale off-grid of units in each station, realizing zero failure and zero hidden dangers, and finally ensuring flawless power supply during the Winter Olympics.
During the Winter Olympics, Zhangbei Regional Company overcame the arduous tasks and difficult working conditions, practiced the concept of "green Olympics", and fulfilled the promise of central enterprises with practical actions. While successfully ensuring power supply during the Winter Olympics, employees of all wind farms stood fast to their respective posts with the same goal and standard to continue lightening Beijing with wind from Zhangbei.
