Recently, the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic in Baise, Guangxi led to overall control. Faced with the emergency, the municipal medical waste treatment center urgently needed support.
On the evening of February 8th, the Ecological Environment Department of Guangxi Autonomous Region sent a letter to CECEP requesting emergency support for centralized processing of medical wastes in Baise. Upon receiving the request letter, CECEP immediately deployed its subordinate CECEP Ecotech Co.，Ltd. to initiate the emergency plan, and worked out an emergency disposal implementation program overnight to urgently support the operation of Baise Medical Waste Treatment Center.
After receiving the notice of medical waste disposal assistance in Baise, 80 people from CECEP Ecotech Co.，Ltd. volunteered without hesitation, and immediately set up an 18-member anti-pandemic commando, which arrived in Baise in two batches on the afternoon of 10th. At the same time, CECEP shuttle buses, production management vehicles, medical collection and transportation buses, etc. gathered around Baise Medical Treatment Center. CECEP also donated 1,000 sets of protective suits, 2,000 masks, 2,000 medical headgears and other materials to Baise, making every effort to help Baise fight the pandemic.
"The pandemic is the order, and time is life." The team members knew that they were shouldering the heavy responsibility of fighting against the pandemic. 18 team members went all out to repair the operation equipment of the treatment center, carrying out all kinds of work in an orderly and intense manner. At 22:20 on the evening of 10th, pyrolysis furnace C was successfully ignited. The commando restarted Baise Medical Waste Treatment Center and effectively guaranteed its smooth operation. By 3: 50 pm on February 11th, 20 tons of medical waste had been processed.
