As the National People's Congress is upcoming, on February 28th CECEP held the press briefing 2022. Song Xin, member of the National Committee of the CPPCC, party secretary and chairman of CECEP, exchanged views with reporters from more than 30 central mainstream media such as Xinhua News Agency, Economic Daily, Science and Technology Daily, Guangming Daily, People.cn, China Energy News, China Environment News and rmzxb.com.cn at Energy-saving Mansion in Beijing. The meeting was presided over by Liu Dajun, member of the Standing Committee of the Party and deputy general manager of CECEP.
At the beginning Song Xin introduced the basic situation of CECEP and the major achievements in the reform and development of party building in 2021. As a member of the National Committee of the CPPCC, Song Xin introduced and exchanged the proposals of the two sessions, which involved hot topics of common concern, such as improving the treatment level of rural domestic waste, helping carbon peak and neutrality, strengthening the recycling of resources, standardizing and improving the working environment of couriers, improving the ecological design of urban green belts, and managing memorial incineration.
In the Q&A session, Song Xin gave detailed answers on how CECEP could promote high-quality development of central enterprises, implement the carbon peak and neutrality strategy and further play the leading role of scientific and technological innovation. Song Xin said that CECEP has made important progress and major breakthroughs, and won a wonderful start for the 14th Five-Year Plan. Facing the future, under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on ecological civilization, CECEP will continue to advance the development of ecological civilization, firmly uphold the concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", and greet the 20th National Congress of the CPC with outstanding achievements by building a beautiful China with green mountains and fresh air, realizing the harmonious coexistence between man and nature, and developing a community with shared future on earth.
