On the afternoon of January 20th, the delivery ceremony of 3,000 sets of household solar power systems of China-Pakistan South-South Cooperation Project on Climate Change was held in Energy-saving Mansion. Zhao Yingmin, Vice Minister of Ecology and Environment, Moin ul Haque, Ambassador of Pakistan to China, and Song Xin, Chairman of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) attended the event and delivered speeches.
In his speech, Song Xin said that CECEP has always unswervingly upheld the "going out" strategy, actively implemented the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), benefited the people of countries along the route, and contributed the strength of central enterprises to enhance China's international image. Lattice High Tech, a subsidiary of CECEP, won the bid of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment's South-South Cooperation Project on Climate Change to provide products and services of household solar power generation system to Pakistan. This is the first project that CECEP Green Lighting Business Sector actively participated in and implemented the BRI South-South Cooperation Plan on Climate Change, which is of great significance. CECEP will take this opportunity to continuously deepen international cooperation, take the initiative to assume the responsibility of central enterprises, actively participate in the National Green Silk Road Messenger Program, the South-South Cooperation Plan on Climate Change and the development of green Belt and Road so as to make new and greater contributions to protecting the ecological environment and cleaning the beautiful world.
Officials from Pakistan Embassy in China, government officials including Li Gao, Director of Climate Change Department of Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Liu Dajun, Deputy General Manager of CECEP, and relevant persons in charge of CECEP headquarters and subsidiaries attended the event.
