On December 13, China Construction Bank Macau Branch issued US$500 million of three-year floating rate green notes under the Common Ground Taxonomy-Climate Change Mitigation (CGT). The CECEP Hundred Technical Service (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CECEP Hundred”) assisted the world’s first green bond issuance under the CGT after it made the pre-issuance certification report as an approved verifier.

In recent years, the CECEP Hundred has been actively participating in the innovation and practice of green finance reform, which helped expand the CECEP’s overseas operations. One of the earliest companies engaging in green finance certification, the CECEP Hundred offers professional support for the making of the CGT and the 2021 Taxonomy of Green Bond Support Projects, and provides certification services for green bond issuances. It has launched multiple cooperation projects with international organizations including the Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI) and the Center for International Climate Research (CICERO).
