The CECEP Taihu Center (Intelligent Science Center Project) developed by CECEP Industry Development Company, recently obtained three-star certification in green building design.
In designing the Taihu Center, CECEP Industry Development adopted the concept of “green office and smart environment” by saving resources, protecting the environment and reducing pollution to the maximum extent during the whole life cycle of the construction, in a bid to provide a green, energy-saving, ecological and healthy office and living environment for property owners. As for building materials, Grade A external thermal insulation materials and Low-E insulating glass were used, which drives the energy efficiency to 70 percent. In terms of energy saving and environmental protection technology, leading energy saving and environmental protection measures such as the rainwater treatment system and the clean fresh air conditioning system are adopted.
