On September 30, China National Environmental Protection Group Changle Company successfully completed reverse power transmission.
In collaboration with the Changle Branch of State Grid, the company started the reverse power transmission of Baoyan I line at 14:48. After five hours of intensive operation, all relevant protection setting values were set at 20:00, marking that the waste incineration power generation project in Changle County succeeded in reverse power transmission and was connected to the grid at the first attempt.
The Changle project is designed to dispose of 500 tons of domestic garbage every day and generate about 65 million kWh of electricity every year, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 50,000 tons. The successful reverse power transmission marks the completion of another major milestone of the project. The project is about to enter the commissioning stage, which will facilitate the smooth operation of the project.
