The last wind turbine for the Phase-II 100MW project at Zone B of the No.2 Mazongshan Wind Farm in Gansu Province was installed on July 27. This marked another good news of the wind farm’s 200MW project implemented by CECEP Wind-power Corporation (Gansu) Co., Ltd. in honor of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), after its first wind turbine was connected to the grid on July 25. By then, the installation of all wind turbines of the 200MW project was completed, a solid step toward full-capacity grid-connected power generation.
Since the turbine installation commenced, the company has convened several specialized meetings to study and review installation plans, epidemic prevention measures, and construction safety and progress. It required advancing the installation work in a science-based manner while putting safety first. Considering the complicated wind and topographical conditions faced by the project, the company collaborated with its partners to study turbine installation methods, and did all it could to coordinate manpower and other resources to ensure all links of the installation process advanced in a safe and orderly manner.
While prioritizing safety and quality, the company carried out turbine installation strictly according to the schedule, with an aim to achieve the project’s full-capacity grid-connected power generation. Moreover, it advances the construction of its Jingyuan and Tianshui projects, and shows a great sense of political responsibility in fulfilling its mission to peak carbon emissions and achieve carbon neutrality and completing its annual targets at a high standard. It has made contributions to building CECEP into a world-class enterprise group in energy conservation, environmental protection, and health industry.
