On June 25, the 10th China Forum on International Ecological Competitiveness was held in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province. Song Xin, chairman of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP), attended the forum at invitation and delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony.
Song Xin said that CECEP has carried out extensive cooperation with Jiangxi Province. So far, the company has invested nearly 10.69 billion yuan in a total of 83 projects covering energy conversation, environmental protection and clean energy in Jiangxi Province. Seventeen companies with excellent performance in the relevant fields, including CECEP Environmental Protection Investment Development (Jiangxi) Co., Ltd., has been fostered in the province.
Song emphasized that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, CECEP will further enhance cooperation with the governments of Ganzhou City and Jiangxi Province, particularly in the fields of pollution control, energy conservation, the research and development of environmental protection technologies, zero-carbon and carbon-negative industrial parks construction, and digital economy development.
At the same time, CECEP will continue to improve its capabilities in consultation planning and resource coordination to facilitate China’s goals to achieve carbon neutrality, advance both zero-carbon industries and carbon-negative technologies to serve the vision of carbon neutrality, build an advanced carbon neutrality system, strengthen its capabilities in carbon neutrality standards establishment and intellectual supply, and work with all sectors and local authorities of Gnazhou City and Jiangxi Province to realize the goals in peaking carbon emission and achieving carbon neutrality.
