On June 6, the First China (Qinghai) International Ecological Expo was held in Xining, Qinghai Province. CECEP Chairman Song Xin was invited to attend the Expo and delivered a keynote speech at the forum themed “Building Ecological Civilization and Sharing the Fruits of Development.”
Song said that CECEP has carried out extensive cooperation with Qinghai Province in the field of energy conservation and environmental protection, which has achieved fruitful results. To date, CECEP has implemented 20 energy conservation and clean energy projects in Qinghai, involving a total amount of about 6 billion yuan.
In the future, he noted, CECEP will deepen cooperation with Qinghai to achieve the goals of carbon peak and carbon neutrality, strengthen collaboration in zero-carbon technology research and development, clean energy supply, pollution control, and other areas, and provide top-level design for Qinghai’s development of the energy conservation and environmental protection industry and its efforts to achieve carbon emission targets during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025) based on the development reality of the province. Meanwhile, CECEP will continue to increase its investment in Qinghai, especially in the development of clean energy projects, to help Qinghai build a new highland of ecological civilization and achieve green, high-quality growth.
