Yu Honghui Attends IFF 2021 Spring Meetings

On May 30, CECEP CEO Yu Honghui attended the International Finance Forum 2021 Spring Meetings. 

In his speech titled “Insisting Systematic Methods, Enhancing Innovation Management and Giving Full Play to the Supportive Role of Energy Conservation Industry in Achieving the Goals of Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality,” Yu Honghui shared the experience of the CECEP in conserving energy, reducing carbon emissions and protecting the environment as a central state-owned enterprise. In addition, he explained the new thoughts and new ways of the energy conservation industry to peak carbon emissions and achieve carbon neutrality.

Yu noted that the CECEP will leverage its technological advantages in reducing carbon emissions and increase its investment in developing carbon-free resources and negative emissions technologies. He revealed that the CECEP will explore ways to promote carbon-neutral green industrial parks and facilitate the transformation of high energy-consuming and high carbon-emission companies to green and low-carbon enterprises, so as to make significant contribution to the country’s goal in peaking carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality.
