On November 21, CECEP Chairman Song Xin met with John L. Thornton, executive chairman of Barrick Gold Corp., and his entourage. The two sides held talks on joint efforts to promote mining ecological restoration, green development and AI technology application as well as emergency application of online monitoring and early warning. Both sides agreed to strengthen exchange, deepen cooperation, and explore new approaches for sustainable pollution control that can be replicated, with an aim to make positive contributions to ecological civilization construction.
