Recently, CECEP and Agricultural Development Bank of China signed a strategic cooperation agreement, aiming to give full play to the leading and pioneering role of a central SOE and a state-owned policy-based financial institution in serving the national development strategy, building a beautiful China and supporting the construction of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, so as to make joint contribution to promoting the great protection of the Yangtze River.
According to the agreement, both sides, on the basis of the existing practical cooperation, will leverage their respective advantages, adopt methods of industry-finance integration, resource sharing, advantage complementarity and business innovation, and deepen cooperation in the fields of ecological restoration and environmental protection of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, ecological restoration of national land, energy saving and emission reduction, and poverty eradication, so as to achieve leapfrog development. They have agreed to attach importance to CECEP’s projects involved in the great development of the Yangtze River in 11 provinces and municipalities along the Yangtze Economic Belt, further increase financial policy support for the great protection of the Yangtze River, and make greater contribution to high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
