Aiming to meet people’s aspiration for a better life, CECEP has extensively carried out targeted poverty alleviation campaigns, with a joint force for poverty relief forming across its subsidiaries. From 2017 to 2018, CECEP invested 9.3 million yuan to help Songxian County of Henan Province and Fuchuan Yao Autonomous County of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region shake off poverty. It has actively implemented “Five Poverty Alleviation Programs,” namely illuminating the countryside, supporting education, water supply in mountainous areas, industrial assistance and key projects, and launched 18 new energy and clean energy projects in poverty-stricken areas of Xinjiang and Qinghai, which provided more than 400 jobs to the local population and boosted local economic and social development.
