China Qiyuan Engineering Corporation (CQEC) unveiled a research center for the application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) on August 20. Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer Liao Ming and Deputy General Manager Ren Xingfu attended and addressed the opening ceremony.
A major move acting upon the guiding principle of collaborative innovation, the center is conducive to improving CQEC’s services in providing high-quality technical support to the construction, operation and maintenance of various engineering projects with BIM methods and system. It is also of great significance to raising the technical strength and influence of CQEC in sectors like industrial engineering, public facility building, as well as energy saving and environment protection.
