CGC Middle East Branch Signs Contract with Saudi Aramco on Abu Ali Island Site Development and Early Construction

On January 30, 2019, the Middle East Branch of China Geo-Engineering Corporation (CGC), a subsidiary of CECEP, signed contract with Saudi Aramco, the Saudi Arabian national petroleum and natural gas company, at its headquarters in Dhahran. According to the contract, CGC will undertake site development and early construction for Saudi Aramco’s Abu Ali Island.

With basic time limits of 540 days and a contract value of US$68.52 million, the project mainly consists of two parts: dismantling and reconstruction of a crude oil refinery and site development.

The project owner, Saudi Aramco, is renowned for its “high standards and strict requirements.” To well perform the first project it has successfully contracted with Saudi Aramco, CGC Middle East Branch is committed to actively promoting the project, making careful plans, seriously implementing the project and ensuring timely, high-quality completion, aiming at winning credit for CGC and laying a solid foundation for CGC’s market expansion and new growth point development in the Middle East.
