On December 8, CECEP Oriental Shuangyashan Building Materials Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “CECEP Oriental”) signed a contract with Hexagon Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of Bangladesh’s Edison Group, at the headquarters of Edison Group to build a production line with a capacity of daily manufacturing 100,000 sintered bricks.
In his speech at the contract-signing ceremony, the vice president of Edison Group highlighted the importance and process of the project and expressed his optimism about Bangladesh’s brick manufacturing market. He noted that if the advanced brick manufacturing equipment introduced from CECEP Oriental is proven to operate well, five more production lines will be built in the future.
When completed, the project will become one of the most advanced brick plants in Bangladesh. Kang Beining, chairman of CECEP Oriental, pointed out that his company would further explore the Bangladeshi market and promote China-Bangladesh comprehensive cooperation in the field of wall materials. Moreover, CECEP Oriental will actively replicate and spread successful experience in industrial capacity cooperation between the two countries in neighboring countries, so as to forge new advantages in international competition and cooperation and make greater contributions to the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative.
