On February 22, the Middle East Branch of China Geo-Engineering Corporation (CGC), a second-tier subsidiary of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP), signed a contract with Saudi Royal Commission to construct 531-C71 Al-Andalus, Al-Defi and Najed parks in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
With a contract value of US$16 million, a contractual construction period of 67 weeks and a warranty period of one year, the project is located in Al-Huway Lat District of Jubail Industrial City. The primary goal of the project is to construct the three abovementioned parks, and detailed works include site remediation, earthmoving and demolition, roads and parking lots, rain drainage systems, drinking water and firefighting water distribution systems, sewage collection systems, irrigation water distribution systems, electricity rationing systems, lighting systems, communications, instruments, road signs and landscaping.
