On October 19, a delegation of 17 high-ranking officials from the Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation, visited CECEP Chengdu.
The delegation visited the environmental protection exhibition, waste control room and central control room of the company’s power plant, and learned of its production procedures. They also came to the combined heat and power section to study the technology of using heat and steam produced in the course of power generation from waste incineration for laundry.
The delegation head said that the Republic of Tatarstan is planning to build a demonstration waste incineration plant, which he hoped could get help and support from the Chinese government and Chinese companies. He also hoped that the two sides could carry out more extensive cooperation in the field of power generation from waste incineration.
