On the morning of October 31, 11 Central Asian diplomats led by the head of the human resources and special information department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, visited CECEP’s Chengdu company on the sidelines of their training session in China.
The diplomats visited the environmental protection exhibition, waste control room, and central control room at the company’s power plant, and learned of its production procedures. They also came to the combined heat and power section to study the technology of using heat and steam produced in the course of power generation from waste incineration for laundry.
Diplomats in the group came from Central Asian countries along the Silk Road including Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, which are all active in the Belt and Road Initiative. Their visit to CECEP Chengdu promoted technological exchanges and friendly, pragmatic cooperation between China and Central Asia.
