According to the recently released result of the Sixth Evaluation of Chinese PPP Projects in Waste Incineration Power Generation and Construction Projects for Recycled Materials Use, co-sponsored by chinabidding.com.cn and paihang360.com, China National Environmental Protection Group (CNEPG) won four awards including “Chinese Best Investors in Construction Projects for Recycled Materials Use,” “Chinese Top 10 Investors of PPP Projects in Waste Incineration Power Generation,” “Chinese Top 10 Most Respected Operators of PPP Projects in Waste Incineration Power Generation” and “Chinese PPP Projects in Waste Incineration Power Generation with the Best Reputations.”
In 2017, CNEPG first put forward the concept of “provider for ground ecological environment management solutions” and began market exploration based on four business segments including municipal solid waste treatment, hazardous waste disposal, agricultural ecology restoration and polluted site restoration.
In 2017, CNEPG achieved 10 solid waste treatment projects in Hanzhong and the Huyi District of Xi’an in Shaanxi, Laixi in Shandong, Bijie in Guizhou and other areas. With a newly added capacity of 12,000 tons a day, its daily disposal capacity has exceeded 70,000 tons. In the meantime, attaching importance to the construction of bases for the utilization of recycled materials, the company has established several city-level solid waste industrial parks in recent years, including seven ecological industrial parks in Linyi, Shandong Province, and Hengshui, Hebei Province.
